Minneapolis & Saint Paul Home Tour
Minneapolis & Saint Paul Home Tour: Real Homes. Real People. Real Ideas.
If you’re finding your living space too small, disorganized, or in disrepair, get out to the Minneapolis & Saint Paul Home Tour April 28-29. Free and self-guided, it’s a great weekend to get ideas on reworking your space, finishing unfinished levels, adding on or building new in the city.
About 50 homes will be open in the two cities. You will be able to talk with homeowners and professionals about projects ranging from basements to whole-house remodels, with lots of kitchens, baths and master suites in between. Pick up tips and tricks for what you can do yourself, and see how hiring professionals can help you avoid costly mistakes.
The tour, in its 25th year celebrating city living and home improvement inspiration, also shows off the neighborhoods in the core cities. Real estate agents are encouraged to hold open houses near tour locations so there may be “for sale” homes available to consider if you’re thinking of moving.
Tour hours are Saturday, April 28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, April 29, 1-5 p.m. Printed guides will be available at metro libraries in April, and homes will be listed and detailed on the website www.MSPHomeTour.com.
