2013 Information For Exhibitors

2012 South Minneapolis Housing Fair registrations are closed.  

This one-day event has become one of the most successful neighborhood activities in the Twin Cities area, and as the only community-based fair in Minneapolis, it attracts residents from South Minneapolis and surrounding communities.

To participate as an exhibitor in 2013, check this site starting in December 2012 to see if the date has been set. The date depends on availability of the venue. For planning purposes, you may download the sample cover letter and Exhibitor Registration form from 2012, below.  Send an email to manager@housingfair.org to request to be put on the mailing list. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis within category, and space is limited. Potential exhibitors are also checked for ratings on Better Business Bureau and Angie's List, the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, and City of Minneapolis where applicable.

Returning vendors, please note: exhibitor door prizes are not required and have been incorporated into the registration fee.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship opportunities are available. Sponsorship dollars help back the cost of the Housing Fair so it can remain a valuable community event that is free for all attendees. Being a sponsor of the Housing Fair is a great way to further showcase your brand in a charitable light. Sponsors at any level will receive a FREE second business category listing in the Fair Directory and on the Fair website! Please download the sponsorship sheet for further details.

Advertising: Fair Directory

Advertising for the 2012 event included several local publications, posters strategically placed around South Minneapolis, and social media.

Additional advertising opportunities are also available in the 2012 Housing Fair Directory. Directories are distributed at local neighborhood locations prior to the event, to attendees on the day of the event, and are made available to approximately 15,000 South Minneapolis residents throughout the year through local neighborhood offices. A standard listing is provided for all exhibitors free of charge, and additional ads can be purchased.
